James Coleman Blackstone's death is listed in his Bible which was passed on to his son, James Otto Blackstone Sr.  who passed this bible to James Otto Blackstone Jr., who gave it to a family member.  This bible contains lots of handwritten information of eyewitnesses of the births, deaths, and marriages of several generations of Blackstones.
